While many people think Jesus spoke only one language, historians believe He actually spoke several. The most common language in His region was Aramaic, but He likely also understood Hebrew, which was used in religious texts and synagogue readings.
Some scholars also believe He may have spoken basic Greek, since it was widely used in trade and communication during that time.
